Another awesome Fridays@5 @ContextOptional. MaryAnne put together make-your-own Operation kits for us to play with (the game with the buzzers, remember that?) over pizza and bourbon.
Goodbye, Colin! Have fun moving across the country! Glad we could send you off in style from the Irish Bank!
Underwood was in town! He, Seth, and I had dinner at Chaya in Berkeley. Delicious vegan Japanese...
The Black Bear Diner in Porterville serves truly scary amounts of calories per dish, but they do it with class. The corn beef hash, hold the side of potatos, was really fresh and tasty and clearly made with better than the usual ingredients.
Delicious sausages and homemade chile verde at Kaden's fifth birthday party (he's in the background of the third spot). It's broiling here in Porterville, even in the shade of Crystal's parents' back yard.
Irish night at AT&T Park! Colin and Liz organized tickets and we had Irish drinks and food at parking lot D. Then we sat around watching baseball for a while.
Another awesome Fridays@5 talk @ContextOptional. Our two-month-old series of food, beer, and interesting topic has been a big success. Today's talk by Waynn on statistics drew nearly the whole office! (I'm sure it was the subject, not the chicken wings.)
Big Prawn Noodle. A generous serving of 3 big prawns serve with yellow noodle plus bee hoon and delicious prawn soup base!
Ich bin blau. Ich ease Burrito. Ich bin noch blau, aber nicht länger hungrich.
Ate too much at Naan & Curry before seeing My Dog Tulip, our second #SFIFF film, at the Pacific Film Archive. I can't help it! Tikka masala sauce belongs on naan bread heading into my mouth!
Dim sum with Tim, Sarah, Thom, Manny, and Alex after moving Tim and Sarah into their new apartment. South Sea Seafood Village is quite good!
A pork bun does not erase the earliness of waking up to help friends move, but at least it tastes good.
It was nice I had prk and pee carrots and mash but the pork got stuck in my teeth at one point
Too much lunch! Having a coffee during an optimization talk at #f8.
Lunch at #f8 -- delicious brisket and mac n cheese -- followed by genuinely interesting engineering talks!
