Mealstrom's a food-centric micro-blogging site. Using an iPhone app, you can take pictures of your meals; when you post them here, they can be automatically shared on Twitter and Facebook. If you're like me, you put a lot of energy and care into food (both at home and out), and Mealstrom gives you an outlet to share that with others.
Cause really, meals aren't just food -- meals are stories too.
The day continued with two more good Fantasy Film Fest films (The Wild Hunt and Symbol), followed by a big dinner at the Schwabinger Kartoffelhaus, a fun-atmosphered place on Hohenzollernplatz. (Our local plaza is three for three for my birthday!) I had a baked potato with sauerkraut and a brat, delicious and filling. I had a potato muffin for desert, tasty but more interesting than a favorite. It was a great meal. After a brief stop at home, I went off for one more time ins Kino to see Higanjima, an awesome-looking Japanese vampire film with German subtitles (which means unfortunately Alex is staying home).
